The Challenge

Mont Blanc, being a manufacturer, had sold its products traditionally via retail partners. Its web presence served purely to deliver information about the company. However, at the end of 2011, Mont Blanc embarked on a new strategy, which included the upgrading and modernisation of its website in order to ex- pand the awareness of the product range and the brand; pro- viding better and easier methods for customers to choose the right products and purchase them from the closest retailers; and preparations for the launch of e-commerce.

The Solution

Mont Blanc products are technical and often considered as difficult to buy online. Mont Blanc wanted to make the product range available in an easy to find method to both resellers and potential customers. Vaimo helped Mont Blanc to create user experience that allows site visitors to easily match the products to their specific car and to filter even further based on specific needs. The site allows the customer to locate the closest retailer and to send off a request for proposal which includes all the products selected by the customers online.
